1.3. Google / YouTube Data We Access

Jamie AI uses YouTube API Services when you connect your YouTube account. When you authorize access using OAuth, and depending on your granted permissions, we may collect:

  • Channel Data: ID, name, image, statistics, description
  • Video Data: titles, IDs, tags, categories, stats, comments metadata, publish dates
  • Analytics Metrics: views, watch time, retention, traffic sources, geography, devices
  • Performance summaries and other permitted analytics scopes

You may revoke this access at any time (see "Your Control Over YouTube Data" below).

1.4. Disclosure: Use of YouTube API Services

Jamie AI uses YouTube API Services.

Jamie AI’s use of YouTube data complies with the YouTube API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1.5. How We Share Your Google / YouTube Data

We share your Google/YouTube user data with the following third parties:

  • AI Service Providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Perplexity AI):
    • YouTube video metadata and analytics data for content analysis
    • YouTube Analytics data for performance insights and recommendations
    • Channel information for personalized AI assistance
    • Purpose: To provide AI-powered production assistance and analytics
    • Data Retention: These providers do not retain your data for non-Jamie AI usage
    • Important: Your data is never used to train AI models
  • Analytics and Performance Monitoring Services:
    • Usage patterns and feature interactions
    • Technical error information for service improvement
    • Purpose: To improve our service, user experience, and fix technical issues

1.6. YouTube Data Management

Revoke Access

You may revoke Jamie AI’s access to your Google/YouTube account at any time.

Option A: Inside Jamie AI

  • Go to Settings → YouTube → Revoke Access

Option B: Through Your Google Account

Revoking access immediately removes Jamie AI’s ability to retrieve new YouTube data.

What Data is Stored

  • YouTube tokens
  • Cached channel/video data
  • Analytics

How to Request Data Deletion

Contact support by emailing support@jamie-ai.com or use the in-app revocation (which deletes stored data). Your data is never used to train AI models.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information and data accessed through YouTube solely to deliver and improve Jamie AI’s features, including:

  • Improve our platform performance and user experience
  • Performance Analytics: aggregating and analyzing channel/video metrics to identify trends, insights, and recommendations.
  • Automated Reports and Summaries: generating AI-based run-of-shows, insights, and summaries using channel and video data.
  • Content Ideation and Optimization: suggesting topics, titles, and formats based on past content performance.
  • Ad and Sponsorship Intelligence: identifying audience segments and ad performance drivers without sharing personal information with third parties.
  • User Experience Enhancement: personalizing dashboard views and content recommendations.

We do not sell your personal information. All use of YouTube data complies with the Limited Use policy, meaning it is only used to provide or improve the features directly visible and expected by the user within Jamie AI.

3. How We Store Information

  • Secure Storage: All data is stored on encrypted servers hosted by reputable cloud providers.
  • Encryption: Data in transit is protected via TLS encryption; data at rest is encrypted using AES-256-GCM.
  • Access Control: Only authorized employees and systems that require access for core operations may access user data.
  • OAuth Tokens: Refresh tokens and access tokens from Google are stored securely using industry-standard secret management tools and are encrypted at rest.

4. Data Retention Policy

  • We retain user and Google/YouTube data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
  • When a user disconnects their Google Account or revokes Jamie AI’s access via their Google Security Settings, all associated YouTube data and tokens are deleted.
  • Aggregated and anonymized metrics (not linked to individual accounts) may be retained for service analytics and performance benchmarks.
  • Backups containing data are securely purged.

We use cookies to:

  • Keep you logged in
  • Save your language or preferences
  • Analyze traffic and improve functionality
